The floor is level but the walls will be tipped so the roof has a slant and it will look like it is hanging off hill. The studio will look so much better than the outside of my house which will need a lot of work to look as good as studio!~
The walls are coming up! Going to be 12 foot tall walls to do bigger work! Pretty exciting.

These Photos were taken in Mexico of Mark Linck, my friend who is building my studio. It is made of recycled buildings that he has found and stored in Mexico and then came up with the design, right now the floor is up on stilts on my hillside but the walls and stuff are in my back yard. It is pretty awesome. I am really excited to see it finished. The roof will be up 2 feet and 4 feet in different sections to let light in. It will look like it tilts forward and Mark and his wife call it the studio "Que Cae" or Kay for short.. the studio that looks like it is falling. stay tuned for more progress....

Showing at Katherine E. Nash Gallery at the University of Minnesota, WonderWomen opens January 20 - February 14, 2015.
The Gallery looks really beautiful, and they have some really neat shows there. Wish I would get to see the Ana Medieta films they will be showing in 2015.
Am really excited to have work in the midwest. I am especially fond of Minnesota as some of my dearest and nicest friends are from there: Tracy McMillan and of course my sweet friend Else Henry, who also introduced me to the talented Clare Vivier So enough reasons to love Minnesota. I am happy to have the opportunity to show there!~

I was really stoked to be in this show along side SWOON! and Clare Rojas, Ravi Zupa and Keith Haring, Cleon Peterson, etc. It was curated by Shepard Fairey and seemed like it looked really great. Here is a photo from Obey Womens Clothing:

I did a bunch of shirts and sweatshirts with OBEY. I really loved the shirts and got a lot of great feedback from you guys. It was so much fun working with the people at OBEY clothing and Shepard is always so supportive of newer artists.
I think there are a few left on their site for those of you who have written recently!!!!

I felt so honored to have my work in this gorgeous film.
I haven't had very much work for sale in the US since my last show at MKG because I just had a baby but my UK dealers Coates and Scarry have a BUNCH of new work of mine at a fair in New York called the Affordable Art Fair, I hope you can check it out. They have sold a bunch of work but here is some of what is there until Sunday.
Please forgive my mom brain, I accidentally sent a few pieces off without signing but I will send you a certificate of Authenticity right away.
If you are interested in any of the work please email me directly through the site or contact Coates and Scarry
